1964/1965 Fender Stratocaster Fiesta Red

It brings us immense pleasure to offer this Pre-CBS Fender Stratocaster in its original custom color Fiesta Red! This one came to us all the way from down unda' in Australia, which explains it's rad heavy duty case Fender used specifically for Australian shipments. The neck date and serial number indicate late 1964, but the potentiometer codes and pickups have dates from January of 1965. It's a killer playing example and the Fiesta Red finish is the perfect custom color.

Measurements: 7.7lbs (3.5 kg) total weight. The neck measures 1.68" wide at the nut, 0.81" deep at the first fret, and 0.96" deep at the 12th fret. The neck pickup reads 5.57k ohms, the middle pickup reads 5.98k ohms, and the bridge pickup reads 5.43k ohms.

Originality: This Strat is original aside from an excellent refret and a custom made bone nut, both performed by our local luthier. 

Playability: Amazing! The neck is dead straight, truss rod functions as intended, and the electronics are clean and operate as intended.

Condition: Excellent with typical nicks, dings, scratches, checking and some appropriate finish wear on the back of the neck. It came to us with some red nail polish painted over the worn areas of the finish, so we had it sent to a friend in Italy to carefully remove the nail polish. 

Included: The original case, bridge cover, and tremolo arm are included with this guitar.
